Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture

Stone Barns Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, aims to create a food system that is healthy and sustainable while benefiting everyone. They operate an 80-acre farm 25 miles north of Manhattan. The center offers classes in cooking for children and adults, operates a seasonal farm market and runs two food venues, the Blue Hill Cafe and the Blue Hill at Stone Barns. The profits from these venues support farm operations, as well as staff and community educational programs. Visitors are encouraged to come and stroll through Stone Barns Center’s pastures, walk the woodlands, and talk to their farmers.
