Tim Fitzgerald has over 25 years of marine science and conservation experience across academia, civil society, and the private sector. As Chief Sustainability Officer of American Seafoods (ASC), he helps the company achieve best-in-class environmental performance across all areas of the business – including carbon accounting and decarbonization, optimization of packaging and operational waste, circularity and recycling, and ESG reporting. Prior to joining ASC Tim worked for Environmental Defense Fund for nearly 20 years, where he led their work with investors, multilateral institutions, and the seafood industry.
