He also coordinates peer-to-peer exchanges among decision makers on important topics such as the development of national agroecology strategies (NAS) or the integration of agroecology into National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). Moritz has previously worked in international Geneva and Brussels on global health, trade and environmental topics for the World Trade Organization, Switzerland's Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and a Swiss think tank.
Martina Fleckenstein is the Global Policy Director, Food for WWF International. Martina has more than 25 years of experience in national and international environment and development policy and has many years of expertise in implementing projects related to sustainable land use and agri-food systems in different geographies. Prior to joining WWF International, Martina was Director, Agriculture & Land Use Change with WWF Germany. A key focus of her work is scaling up actions to transform food systems at policy and government levels, and connecting them to biodiversity and climate goals.
