More people are becoming interested in what they’re eating, and with more curious eaters comes an overwhelming amount of information about the food system. Food Tank is partnering with Food MythBusters, a Village Green Network (and Real Food Media) project to bring you “creative videos, online resources, and grassroots events that tell the real story about the food we eat.”
Anna Lappé of the Small Planet Institute and Corporate Accountability International established Food MythBusters with input from a coalition of food and agriculture organizations. The goal is to build a food community through the power of information, and promote ways to turn information into action.
Food MythBusters features videos and social-media based information on topics from hunger to the environment. Their website includes ways to learn more, get involved and share the knowledge. Check them out on twitter @FoodMythBusters for the latest information!
