The Barilla Center for Food and Nutrition (BCFN) will be accepting applications for the Young Earth Solutions (YES!) competition between January 7th and May 31st of 2015. The goal of BCFN YES! “is to give university students and their ideas a place within the Seventh International Forum on Food And Nutrition.” The BCFN YES! competition encourages young people to propose ideas and innovative solutions to the challenges facing the food system today. Any student, graduate or undergraduate, under the age of 35 can submit a project idea for sustainable solutions in the food supply chain.
The project idea must present a solution to specific issue using templates available on the BCFN website. The submission includes a word document of complied research, and a PowerPoint presentation that contains the main aspects of the project and how the award of £10,000 will be used to implement the idea. Complete guidelines for the rues of BCFN YES! can be found here.
Submission to the contest is free of charge, and submissions from students around the globe are accepted.
