“There Will Come a Day” is a new music video about the fate of planet Earth, sung from the perspective of mother nature herself. The song was written by singer-songwriter Amanda Homi and musician Gary Haase during Hurricane Sandy, a time when the artist said she felt a “real sense of urgency” emanating from the planet. “It was as if Mother Nature was sending a clear warning signal, and her patience was coming to an end,” Homi said. “There Will Come a Day” was filmed by Anana Kaye in Ft. Tryon Park and Brooklyn’s Dead Horse Bay, one of New York City’s most polluted sites.
Homi received a best story song award from the Independent Music Awards in 2015 for her song “Ladri di Biciclette.” She was born in London but currently resides in NYC.
