Philip Loring is the author of Finding Our Niche, a new book that offers guidance in reconciling settler-colonial histories with a more sustainable vision for humanity. He earned his masters and doctorate degrees from the University of Alaska and currently holds the Arrell Chair in Food, Policy, and Society at the University of Guelph.
