Allan Jury joined the World Food Program USA in April 2013, initially as a Senior Advisor. He assumed the post of Vice President of Public Policy in September 2015. World Food Program USA is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that supports the mission of the UN World Food Programme through policy advocacy, communications, and private sector fundraising in the U.S.
Prior to joining WFP USA, Mr. Jury served twelve years as a Senior Manager with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). His positions at WFP included Director of the Washington DC Office; Director of External Relations; and Chief of the Policy Service. His tenure at WFP followed a twenty-five year Foreign Service career with the U.S. Department of State that included several leadership positions in humanitarian and refugee affairs in Washington D.C. and internationally.
