Brian Lipinski is an Associate in the Food Program at the World Resources Institute and served as the lead author on the 2013 working paper Reducing Food Loss and Waste and is a co-author of Creating a Sustainable Food Future: Interim Findings. He also is currently involved in the development of the Food Loss and Waste (FLW) Protocol, a multi-stakeholder effort to develop the global standard for quantifying loss and waste of food as well as associated inedible parts. He holds an M.S. in environmental policy from the School of Natural Resources at the University of Michigan.
