Katherine Miller was the founding executive director of the Chef Action Network and the vice president of impact at the James Beard Foundation. She was the first food policy fellow at American University’s Sine Institute of Policy and Politics and is a Distinguished Terker Fellow at George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs. She is an adjunct professor at the Culinary Institute of America and is the author of At the Table: The Chef’s Guide to Advocacy.

Mary Sue Milliken is a James Beard and Julia Child Award-winning chef, cookbook author, media personality, and co-owner of Mundo Hospitality Group (Border Grill, BBQ Mexicana, Pacha Mamas, SOCALO, and Alice B.) with her business partner Susan Feniger. Milliken is passionate about food policy and works with nonprofits around the world to bring her expertise to help shape sustainable food systems. Mary Sue also serves on the Board of Trustees for the James Beard Foundation, she is a member of the U. S. State Department’s American Chef Corps, and a co-founder of Regarding Her.
