Luca is Chief Communication & External Relations Officer for Barilla. In his role, he is responsible for Media Relations, Scientific Relations, Government Relations, Corporate Identity and Communications, Sustainability strategy and policy, Crisis Management, Social media, and sponsorships. Before joining Barilla, Luca was a Director at The Procter & Gamble Company for almost 20 years.
Luca is a member of the US Seminar; The European PR Directors Forum; a founding member of The Circle of European Communicators. He is Vice President of Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition Foundation. In 2011, The Holmes Report recognized Luca as one of the 100 most important in-house communicators in the world. In 1989, Luca graduated from the University of Parma in Law. He resides in Parma and has a daughter.
