Rachel Hommel is a San Diego based writer, social media strategist, and Slow Food advocate. Working for the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California San Diego, she is inspired by cutting-edge solutions for transforming the global food community, including her role as the Communications Chair for Slow Food Urban San Diego. When not rallying for fair food, Rachel can be spotted swimming, biking, and running at her next triathlon.
