Tammy and Chad Ingels are Niman Ranch hog farmers from northeast Iowa. They are very involved with their local community and Practical Farmers of Iowa sustainability efforts. Chad is a fourth-generation farmer and newly elected member of the Iowa House of Representatives.

Kennley and Melissa Wright are family farmers who live and work on their farm outside of Colman, South Dakota with their four young children.  Kennley Wright is a fifth generation family farmer, and Melissa has her own business called My Sweet Pickles, which sells naturally-based children’s items. The Wrights produce corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and grass hay, as well as hogs, chickens and ducks. 

LaRayia Gaston is the founder of Lunch On Me, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that brings nutritious and organic meals to skid row six days a week and offers yoga classes, community parties and healing gatherings for women.

Brice and Melanie Hundling operate Hundling Family Farms in Breda, Iowa. They established their farm in 2004 and grow corn, soybean, alfalfa, oats, pasture, and a variety of livestock, including cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, and poultry. The Hundlings use sustainable farming practices, including crop rotation, grassy waterways, terraces, no-till agriculture, and a combination of crop farming, rotational grazing, and residue grazing.

Penny and Dean Janousek operate Janousek Pure Pork and Beef in Clarkson, Nebraska. The family prioritizes humane livestock practices and allowing their pigs to exhibit their natural instincts.

Giuliana Furci is the first female mycologist in Chile and the founder and CEO of The Fungi Foundation. The Fungi Foundation is a nonprofit focused on mycological expeditions, conservation, and education. 

Christy and David Borrowman operate Pastvina Acres Farm in Smithville, Missouri. Christy was raised on a grain, pig, cattle and hay farm near Smithville, and David is a 5th generation pig farmer who grew up working on a grain and pig farm in Illinois. They’re committed to offering free-range, non-GMO meats for local customers.
