Great Basin Community Food Co-op (CBCFC) promotes the development of a local food system that will allow residents of the Great Basin area to have broad access to local and organic food. All GBCFC products are sourced from within their local “foodsheds,” the three closest river systems and their watersheds. The cooperative began as a buyer’s club offering its consumers natural foods but has since grown to open a storefront serving much of northern Nevada.

Western Sustainable Agriculture Working Group is a nonprofit organization in Austin, NV that connects western promoters of sustainable agriculture to each other and to the region.
