Bernard Pollack is a Dublin-based changemaker, storyteller, and co-founder of Food Tank, a global nonprofit community working towards positive transformation in how we produce and consume food. With a Master’s in Political Management from The George Washington University, Bernard has spent his career fostering solutions in the food system and building platforms for meaningful dialogue. Under his leadership, Food Tank has grown into a trusted voice, engaging diverse audiences and collaborating with organizations like the White House, the U.N., and leading universities.

His professional journey includes key roles at the AFL-CIO and the Worldwatch Institute, where he worked on campaigns and initiatives promoting social and environmental change. Bernard’s love of storytelling extends to playwriting, with works featured live on Good Morning Britain, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and praised by The New York Times. A passionate traveler, he has visited over 100 countries and is an avid climber who has trekked the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro, and the Camino de Santiago. Most importantly, Bernard treasures his role as the proud father of Charley, his six-year-old cockapoo.
