Hayly is a former Research and Writing Intern with Food Tank who is determined to address issues of food system resiliency through creative, community-based solutions. With a B.S. in agro-ecology from Pennsylvania State University, Hayly’s strengths come from balancing a technical knowledge of sustainable food production with a wealth of experience in experiential learning, advocacy, and community outreach. When she’s not researching or writing, Hayly can be found at her neighborhood community garden, trying out a new recipe, or tending to her excessive houseplant collection.
