A 26 year veteran of WhyHunger, Noreen brings a combination of marketing, program management, fundraising, operational, and executive experience to shape the vision and leadership of this global anti-hunger organization. WhyHunger provides critical resources to support grassroots movements and fuel community solutions rooted in social, environmental, racial, and economic justice. WhyHunger is working to end hunger and advance the human right to nutritious food in the U.S. and around the world.
Access to affordable nutritious food is a basic human right, not a privilege. However, for nearly 1 out of 8 Americans, hunger is a reality—as evidenced by the food insecurity rates which have remained at around 12 percent over the past three decades.
