The U.S. generates 63 million tons of food waste annually. At the same time, 44 million people in the U.S. face hunger. Food Tank, Flashfood, Divert, ReFED and Apeel are bringing together thought leaders across the industry to discuss technologies and solutions to bridge this gap between food waste and food insecurity. The program covers three themes essential to accelerating progress against the food waste crisis: access and affordability; nutrition, healthier choices and food as medicine; and food loss and waste.
