Following the success of the first Food Innovation Master’s Program, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Future Food Institute, and Institute for the Future are pleased to announce the next edition: Food Innovation Program 2.0. This 12-month, full-time master’s program dedicated to shaping the global food leaders of tomorrow is scheduled to begin in September of 2016.
The Food Innovation Program is delighted to offer the Food Tank community the opportunity to apply for a Food Tank Scholarship to cover the Food Innovation Master’s Program fee of about US$11,300 (not including living and travel expenses). This scholarship is open to farmers, producers, agriculturalists, researchers, scientists, academics, and journalists in the Food Tank community who possess a passion for food policy.
Food Innovation Program (FIP) students will have a first-hand experience in three exciting and innovative food hubs of excellence in the world; from the Silicon Valley, United States to Reggio Emilia, Italy to Shanghai, China. The program is truly a one-of-a-kind global food tour that offers FIP students the opportunity to seek and understand the motivations, drivers, and impacts of food innovation across the globe. Students will also learn to align their minds to seize new opportunities in responding to challenges and shaping the future of food.
The Food Innovation Program is aligned with Food Tank’s mission to build a global community for safe, healthy, nourished eaters, spotlighting environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable ways of alleviating hunger, obesity, and poverty and creating networks of people, organizations, and content to push for food system change. Let us better the world through the power of food!
Make sure to send your application by May 30, 2016, and prepare to start your journey as a future food leader!
