Stella Delp is the co-founder and Chief of Staff at the Farmlink Project, a nonprofit organization founded by college students that alleviates food insecurity and reduces food waste by connecting farms with a surplus of fresh, nutritious produce to communities in need. She is currently a Junior at Stanford University majoring in Human Neurobiology but on leave to focus on Farmlink. Since its start in April 2020, Farmlink has delivered over 27 million pounds of produce and prevented nearly 29 million pounds of carbon emissions.

The film tracks Germaine’s battle against massive obstacles—physical, racial, legal, political, and systemic—as she petitions Charleston’s local government to either extend her farm’s lease or give her ownership of the plot.
